Value of Hard Work
Chris grew up in Herscher, a small rural town south of Chicago, where he met Nathan Hilding in grade school. He learned the value of hard work by working summers and school breaks at his family’s excavating business. After graduating from Herscher High School he continued to Illinois Wesleyan University, where he met Jason Akemann. During his time at IWU, he was a four-year starter on the football team, earning a spot on the Division III All-American team all four years, and was named Division III Academic Athlete of the Year during his junior year. Chris lives in Glen Ellyn and loves all Chicago-based sports teams.
