Chef Zach started his culinary career in New York where he started as a dishwasher at a local country club and worked through the ranks. While in New York, he attended the Culinary Institute of America where he received a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management and an associate degree in culinary arts. After graduation, he traveled the United States and lived in Naples, FL, Sonoma, CA, and Raleigh, NC before ending up in Chicago. Before Bottleneck, Zach was a corporate chef for Chicago-based Francesca’s Restaurant group.
Outside of Work
Zach enjoys traveling and eating his way through a city’s finest restaurants. He enjoys spending as much time outside as possible, preferably on a beach somewhere with his wife and kids.
