Chef Zach started his culinary career in New York where he started as a dishwasher at a local country club and worked through the ranks. While in New York, he attended the Culinary Institute of America where he received a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management and associate degree in culinary arts. After graduation he traveled the United States and lived in Naples, Florida; Sonoma, California; and Raleigh, North Carolina before ending up in Chicago. Prior to Bottleneck Management, Zach was a corporate chef for Chicago based Francesca’s Restaurant group.
Outside of Work
Zach enjoys traveling and eating his way through a city’s finest restaurants. He enjoys spending as much time outside as possible, preferably on a beach somewhere with his wife and two-year-old son.
