Background

Aekta graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Finance and spent 14 years working in the cosmetics world with brands like Edgewell Personal Care, Whole Foods, Amika, and Jergens. During that time, she handled a mix of accounting and HR roles, which gave her a pretty well-rounded mix of experience with both numbers and people.

Outside of Work

In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, getting hooked on a great book, and traveling. If she’s not planning her next trip, she is likely to be catching up with friends.
