I enjoy that every day presents new (and unexpected challenges), it’s all about finding creative ways to make things work and solve problems!
What do you do when you are not at work?
I am an avid concert goer, I try to see at least one concert a week, almost all of my vacations are based around live music. I also love riding my bike, and checking out Chicago’s fantastic restaurant scene.

Back in 2008, my best friend Teddy Risk was bartending at Trace. Through Teddy I met Bart Vivian and eventually Jason, Nate, and Chris.

Biggest party foul?
When you’re out with a big group and your friend who has never worked in a restaurant asks for separate checks.
I absolutely love Asian food, specifically Asian noodles, specifically Ramen, specifically the Miso Bold and Spicy Ramen from Ramen Takeya (runner up, Spicy Roasted Garlic Ramen from Wasabi).
