Dine Away Hunger is an initiative from the People’s Resource Center in DuPage County. The PRC aims to respond to ‘basic human needs’, including those of hunger and poverty, and so established the Dine Away Hunger event in order to help the residents of DuPage. Last year, they served almost 32,000 people in the area, and distributed 2.5 million pounds of food to help families in need.

At Bottleneck Management, we believe in giving back in many ways, and our charitable efforts range from investing the time and effort of our valued staff and extended family, to making monetary contributions and helping raise awareness of worthy causes.

This May, we are happy to be involved with the PRC Dine Away Hunger efforts. On Wednesday May 14th, our newest restaurant Old Town Pour House Oak Brook, will be donating 10% of their total food sales to the PRC Food Pantry. ALL of the money raised goes directly to purchase healthy food for their pantry, which in turn offers fresh produce, meats, dairy, canned goods and various staples to help supply 3,000 households each month.
