Utopias Strong | 28.0% ABV
Truly the epitome of brewing’s two-thousand-year evolution, Samuel Adams Utopias® offers a flavor not just unlike any other beer but unlike any other beverage in the world. Each release is a blend of batches, some having been aged up to 16 years in the barrel room of our Boston Brewery, in a variety of woods. We aged a portion of the beer in hand-selected, single-use bourbon casks from the award-winning Buffalo Trace Distillery. Some of the latest batches also spent time in Portuguese muscatel finishing casks, as well as sherry, brandy, and Cognac casks. This flavorful, slightly fruity brew has a sweet, malty flavor that is reminiscent of a deep, rich vintage port, fine cognac or aged sherry.

Utopias (2023) Strong Ale | 28.0%
Introducing an exciting finishing cask for this release, Pineau des Charentes adds hints of honey and vanilla that envelop the palate. Along with our traditional Bourbon, Ruby Port, and Carcavelos casks, which bring notes of peach, wine grapes, a rich woodiness, and vanilla, we also finished with Scotch and Peated Whiskey Casks. These casks impart an extremely subtle peaty smokiness, which rounds out the complexity of the overall blend.

Boston Lager | 5.0% ABV
This version of Boston Lager®, produced until January 2023, was superseded by Boston Lager® Remastered. Samuel Adams Boston Lager® is the best example of the fundamental characteristics of a great beer, offering a full, rich flavor that is both balanced and complex. It is brewed using a decoration mash, a time-consuming, traditional four-vessel brewing process discarded by many contemporary brewers. This process brings forth a rich sweetness from the malt that makes it well worth the effort. Samuel Adams Boston Lager® also uses only the finest of ingredients, including two-row barley, as well as German Noble aroma hops. The exclusive use of two-row barley not only imparts a full, smooth body but also gives the beer a wide spectrum of malt flavor ranging from slightly sweet to caramel to slightly roasted. The Noble hops varieties, Hallertau Mittelfruh and Tettnang Tettnanger, add a wide range of floral, piney and citrus notes, which are present from the aroma, through the flavor, to the lingering smooth finish. We take great pride in the Noble hops used in our beers. They are hand-selected by Jim Koch and our other brewers from the world’s oldest hops-growing area. Among the world’s most expensive, they cost twenty times as much as other hops.

Instead, Mosaic IPA is an extremely well-balanced brew that showcases its unique hop aroma and flavor. This beer gets its name from a new hop variety named “Mosaic,” which is predominantly where the immense, raw hop aroma and flavor are derived. Mosaic IPA has a noticeable malt backbone to help soften the high level of hop bitterness and flavor, while keeping the body fairly light. The word “Mosaic” is also representative of the diverse range of individuals that make up our community. It’s perfect in every way!

HAZY IPA Half-Life is always a crowd favorite for both craft beer aficionados and those new to the beer scene. It is an unfiltered Northeast-inspired IPA with an aroma that is interesting without being overpowering. Upon first sip, you will immediately pick up on the citrus characteristics. Soon to follow will be stone fruit and pine. But this is not a bitter IPA, friends. It is perfectly balanced with a focus on the delicious aroma. Martin House Brewing Company (Fort Worth, TX)

Known for their adventurous beers, Martin House embraces creative flavors, including their popular “Imperial Texan” and barrel-aged series.

On Our Taps:
Salty Lady Sour | 5.0% ABV
The Salty Lady is our interpretation of a Gose – a rather obscure, tart, salty German-style beer. Our version is soured in the kettle with a lactic culture. The tartness is tempered by salt additions from around the world and finished with coriander for a citrus and earthy touch. We ferment with our house saison yeast to put our own little spin on the style. Its flavor is reminiscent of a sports drink at the end of a 110-degree day.

True Love Sour | 5.2% ABV
True Love is our second sour beer that is now available year-round. Similar to the Salty Lady, it is kettle-soured and very refreshing. Raspberries are added to the fermenter, which provides a purple hue and slight sweetness. Give it a try. You’ll fall in love with True Love, one can at a time. With summertime right around the corner, True Love is your best option for a poolside brew. Grab the cooler, pick up some ice, and crash your neighbor’s pool party. Maybe snag an extra 6-pack and be sure to spread the love.

Peticolas Brewing Company (Dallas, TX)

Known for its well-balanced beers like “The Velvet Hammer” and “Golden Opportunity,” Peticolas has become a staple of the Dallas craft beer scene

On Our Taps:
Sit Down Or I’ll Sit You Down IPA | 10.0% ABV
Around the turn of the century, Michael Peticolas’ brother Charlie was a cop, and COPS featured him in three episodes. Charlie proudly (yet painstakingly) screened each episode for his brothers, whose initial excitement slowly waned until the final segment of the last episode. As Charlie approached an unresponsive suspect, he repeatedly requested the suspect sit down until demanding “Sit Down or I’ll Sit You Down!”. This line struck Charlie’s brothers as hilarious, and they immediately began jokingly repeating it…for years. A decade after becoming a family legend, we used the line to name our Imperial IPA – a big beer that will sit you down if you don’t do it first. As for the beer itself, the intent is to exhibit the fresh and bright character of the hops. We dry hopped it with over a pound of hops per barrel of beer. It’s gold in color, and the floral ester aroma is high. The hop bitterness is high, but not at all harsh. The hop flavor is intense, fresh, and lively. Yet with all of our beers, it’s all about balance, and this one is no exception. The ever-present malt character provides a tremendously full mouthfeel. Finally, the alcohol in this beer is intentionally present (and delicious). We call it ‘Sit Down’ for short, and it’s unquestionably our crew’s favorite.

Velvet Hammer Red Ale | 9.0% ABV
A tribute to our favorite Brewmaster, Greg Matthews, the Velvet Hammer appears as a dark, ruby reddish-brown ale beneath a sheath of protective off-white foam. It is malt-forward with elements of caramel and the sweetness of light brown sugar, balanced nicely by a combination of floral hops and a noticeable alcohol bite. It’s a sturdy brew with a smooth character that belies both an inner strength and a slightly full body, along with a moderate bitterness to round out the taste.

DreamWeaver Wheat | 4.8% ABV

On Our Taps:
Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale | 6.5% ABV
When you brew as much as we do, sometimes we get tired of telling the yeast what to do. For Apex Predator Farmhouse Ale, we pitch the yeast cold, turn off the temperature control, and let the yeast do its thing. To our delight, it spat out the sweet scent of juicy fruit wafting from a frothy, white mane. Brewed only with grain and sugar, unencumbered by the heat of the kiln, we create a hazy, golden body. Apex Predator gets its teeth from a generous Crystal dry-hopping that completes the dry finish with a fruity bite. Pounce on the opportunity to let it part your lips, and you may find yourself at the top of the food chain.

Beer for Tacos | 4.8% ABV
You know what we love as much as beer? Margaritas… and tacos. But we make beer, so we decided to add lime juice to our Gose beer, lending a bright, citric acid character to the existing lactic acid, creating a beer with complex tartness.
